Miren turns 5!!

Miren turned 5 on Sunday, June 8.  She decided a couple months ago that she wanted to have a "spa themed birthday party."   At first I was hesitant because that seemed very grown up.  She loves getting her fingernails and toenails painted and just wanted to be able to do that with her friends.  So on Saturday we had a small party with some of her friends.  She had a great time!

 Then there were three stations for the girls to go to: pedicures, manicures, and hair.

Her mom (one of my Bible study leaders) even made the smock they wore for the occasion.

 Miren wanted a spa cake with nails polish, lipstick, and a hair brush on it.

 Then on Sunday, for Miren's birthday she got to have frozen yogurt, open presents, and go to Wet N Wild Waterpark.  She had a great couple of days!

I have been trying to ask the girls some questions on their birthday about some of their favorite things to look back on in the future.  So here are some of the questions I asked Miren.

1.  Favorite person in the whole world:  my new friend at Bible school (she just met her Monday and she does not know here name.  Apparently, deciding you are friends comes before sharing names)

2.  Favorite television show: Music and Arts (on netflix)  

3. Favorite outfit: Easter dress

4. Favorite song: Let It Go (from Frozen)

5. Favorite Sport: What is a sport?

6. Want to be when grow up: a princess

7. Favorite Book: Princess Seek and Find

8. I'm really good at: feeding the dog

9. Best memory: When Grandma Dee had to call Plumbing Masters- because the sewer backed up in the basement (not sure she has the idea of "best")

10. If you could have a wish, what would it be: a flying horse

11. Favorite Ice Cream: Mint Chocolate Chip

12. Biggest Hero: Daddy (aw!!)
