One of the things that Avery's teacher has made a priority this year is visiting a retirement community near school with Avery's class. They visited for the 2nd time this year the week before school got out for Christmas. This time the whole 1st grade went to sing and share with the people there. The kids had a great time and I got to go to. Most of the time I am not able to go on Avery's field trips with her because it is not easy to get childcare for the younger two, but this time Andy stayed home with them so I could go. And I loved it.
