Friday, July 11 we drove to Denver, CO. We were hoping to see my college friend, Kim, there, but it took us two extra hours to get into Denver with rush hour traffic. So we went to the hotel. The girls had their first night sleeping together in one bed. We all tried to get a little sleep before we left our hotel room at 3:45am to go to the airport.
We flew from Denver to Chicago. We were supposed to fly on to Grand Rapids, but our flight was cancelled on to Grand Rapids because of rain. The flight they booked us on after that was also cancelled. We had intended to drive from Grand Rapids back to Chicago anyway, so we just rented a car in Chicago. It was questionnable (crazy) for us to be driving through Chicago to Grand Rapids and then driving back to Grand Rapids anyway (a whole other story). We spent the weekend at Andy's cousin, Carla's house. We had so much see her and Andy's cousin Patti and their families. We also saw Andy's Aunt Marilyn and Uncle Dan.

Sunday, I went and saw my college roommate Julie and enjoyed lunch with her hubby and baby. They cooked a gourmet meal! I forgot to take a picture while we were together. I loved spending time with them though. Everytime Julie and I are together it feels like no time has passed. We were supposed to get together with other college friends Sunday night, but their son was sick, so we went to Pop's for yummy sandwiches. The meal ended with crazy faces. Everyone was feeling a little tired.
