Avery had Spring Break the last week in March. We decided to have our wood floors refinished at home during that week. So Andy supervised that project at home and I took the three girls to Colorado Springs to see my parents. This is a picture of making caramel corn with Grandma Sharon.
Kyra is FINALLY sitting up well! She is so laid back it took her a while.
The girls always love playing piano with Grandma Sharon. Grandma Sharon plays a song and Avery and Miren play whatever random notes they want to along with her.
Grandad showing the girls a science experiment.
We visited the Air Force Academy. Can you see the girls and Grandma Sharon at the top of the chapel steps.
At my parents church, they had a special event in the morning on the Saturday before Easter where kids could experience what Israel was like in Jesus' day through different booths. They did weaving, pounding nails, tasting bread, making necklaces, playing instruments, writing on tablets, and talking to a rabbi.
It was fun spending Easter with my parents at their church. I really enjoyed sharing the Easter story with the girls through Resurrection Eggs that my parents gave them. Every year we talk through the story with the eggs and each time something different makes an impression on them and me. How truly blessed we are to have Jesus as Our Atoning Sacrifice! Since then Miren has been wanting to do the eggs often and keeps asking me if Jesus is alive. I love talking about my faith with my girls.

My Dad's birthday was on Easter. We had a great time helping to celebrate.
