Since we had family in twice close to Kyra's birthday we celebrated her birthday twice. The first time was the last night that Sarah and Matt were in town. We had BBQ chicken dinner, swam, and then had cake.

Kyra especially liked the frosting!
I think this is a half crying picture. All of that frosting was probably itchy on her face.
Avery and Miren call Kyra the "Baby Boss" so they decided we should give Kyra a "Baby Boss" shirt for her birthday. We could not find one to buy so we used iron-on letters to make one.
We celebrated Kyra's birthday for the second time when Andy's parents were in town with us. We went out to dinner at the Pita Jungle and then came back to our house for presents and a birthday treat.
Kyra's birthday treat for the second celebration was berries with chocolate and plain whip cream on top.
It was delicious!
Kyra riding her birthday bike. She loves it when her sisters push her around on it. Kyra is a delight at one year. She continues to be easy going and a great eater. She made the move from formula and bottles easily to milk and sippy cups. She loves to watch people and gets joy out of mimicking what we do. Her weight is 18.3 lbs (25%ile) and her height is 29" (44%ile). Her favorite foods are cheese, blueberries, and avocados.
