We can't help ourselves. We love having an excuse to go to San Diego for vacation. Which was why we jumped at the opportunity to be a part of events in San Diego over Spring Break for 3rd graders and their families at our girls' school. We had a great time. We really wanted to make sure that it felt like our own family vacation, but that we also had a chance to spend time with kids from school. It ended up being the perfect mix of both. The weather was also perfect while we were there with highs 75-85 degrees each day. We spent lots of time on the beach. We went to the aquarium, school bonfire, the Safari Park, and Andy and Avery took the Floating Lab boat ride.

Miren was less than thrilled that I asked her to compare herself to the gorilla.
We enjoyed our time at the Safari Park with the Steenstras.
All in all a great trip!
