We were unsure what to do about Fall Break. We really wanted to get away, and Andy didn't have the time to take off to go anywhere extra. So they girls and I went to San Diego, CA for a very quick trip. We made it as cheap as possible by just eating out 2 times and getting a hotel on Priceline. We left Wednesday morning and came back Friday afternoon. Our one and only goal was to spend as much time as possible at the beach.
We spent lots of time finding shells and playing in the sand.
We also bought a boogie board before we left and Avery and Miren spent time on it. Miren decided she didn't enjoy riding it in the cold water, but Avery felt the opposite and loved loved loved it!
We were sad Andy couldn't be there, but otherwise it was a great success.
