The first week in July we went to Colorado Springs to visit my parents. We had a great time and spent as much time as we could outside in the wonderful weather. Here are the girls helping pick strawberries.
We went to the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo.
The girls got to feed the giraffes.
Miren had the best view on Grandad's shoulders.
We ate lunch in a restaurant at the zoo overlooking Colorado Springs.

We took the Cog Railway up Pikes Peak.
Miren always like to feed their dog Blanca.
Yummy steak lunch on the 4th. We went out for frozen yogurt and watched fireworks.
Climbed trees!
The girls helped Grandma Sharon weed her strawberries.
Oops! Picked a strawberry plant. Got to watch Miren carefully!
One morning Andy found that 5 baby bunnies were born in the flower bed. They were so could and spent several days in a burrow in the strawberry bed.
