The week of Thanksgiving, Miren and Avery both had Grandparent's Day at school. Their grandparents would have loved to have been there, but could not be there. So our friend from church, Ms. Vicky, was so sweet to come to school two afternoons to spend time with the girls.
They decorated this cornucopia and made a pumpkin together. Miren's class also sang some songs. Miren's Grandparent's Day was on Tuesday but Monday morning she kept insisting it was already Tuesday because she didn't want to have to wait for her day.
Ms. Vicky and Avery made a Thankfulness Turkey (Spider Turkey) together, compared their likes as kids, and did games together.

Both girls really enjoyed their special afternoons!
