Minute to Win It

We decided to do a Minute to Win game night for the twenties and thirties group at church, and it was my task to come up with the list of 60 second activities that would be the challenges.  Thank goodness for Pinterest and my friend, Lynola- they made it simple to come up with the challenges.

We did some of the challenges the night before at home and the girls had a blast. The tic tac challenge we had to move as many tic tacs as we could just with tweezers from one plate to another.

The Cookie Challenge: Start with a cookie on your forehead and get it to slide into your mouth by moving you head in slight movements- no use of hands.

The adults doing the cookie challenge.  Our friend, Mandy, was the only adult to get it into her mouth.  The kids did great on this challenge.  Several kids were able to get it in their mouth.

The Marshmallow Challenge: Each team had to stand at the line and throw as many as their could mini marshmallows, one at a time, in a small basket as they could in 60 seconds.

The Jingle Bell Challenge: Each team had four different boxes with different numbers of jingle bells in each boxes.  By just shaking the boxes they needed to determine which boxes had what number of jingle bells in each box and arrange the boxes in order of the number of jingle bells.

Lynola  and her parents did a separate Minute to Win It with the kids while the adults did theirs.  This is the Tic Tac Challenge.

The Red Solo Cup Stack: Each team had to appoint a person to stack 36 cups in a pyramid and take them down in one stack in 60 seconds.  It's harder than it looks.

 The Marshmallow Challenge

The Junk in the Trunk Challenge: Each person has a kleenex box with ping pong balls strapped to their back and they have to move around to try to shake all of the ping pong balls out in 60 seconds.

The Spaghetti Challenge: Each team moved empty pop cans from one table to another using only a dry spaghetti noodle in their mouth.  Pastor Marc and Niki were amazing at this challenge- makes me kind of wonder.  Minute To Win It was very silly with lots of laughs.  It was definitely worth the time.
