Miren turned 6 on June 8. She packs a spunky personality in a small little body. She is very affectionate and loves adventure. She is not afraid of anything, which has been concerning at times. She is also quite stubborn! It has been a big year for Miren between kindergarten, getting her first hearing aid, the car accident, and deciding she wanted to follow Jesus. She has handled it all so well.
Newborn Miren
We celebrated her birthday with a party on Saturday, June 6. She wanted to have a spa party like last year, but she decided that the boys she wanted to invite to the party wouldn't like that. So she decided she wanted to have a party with water games in our yard. Unfortunately, the boys she invited could not come, but she had a great time.

We had the slip n slide, pool, water balloons, bubbles, and water squirters to play with

Presents!
We had vanilla cupcakes with chocolate whip cream filling and Miren helped me decorate them with in a beach theme with chocolate shells and candy pearls and candy rocks.
On her actual birthday, she wanted to open her presents as soon as she got up. She got this fort building set from us, Grandma Dee and Grandpa, and Aunt Sarah and Uncle Matt. Part of the fort set glows in the dark!
She received books and a reading light from Grandma Sharon and Grandad. She can read in bed after lights out now, just like Avery! She got to Facetime with Grandma Sharon and Grandad in the morning and Facetime with Grandma Dee and Grandpa in the evening which was very fun.
They built a fort right away with her new set and slept in it for her birthday night.
Her birthday night we went to Sweet Tomatoes by her choice for her dinner. She had cold plain noodles from the salad bar, mac and cheese, and hot plain noodles for dinner. Can you tell what her favorite food is?!
